Deeson is now on G-Cloud 8

Those of you working in the public sector will be pleased to know that Deeson’s services can now be found on the latest version of G-Cloud, G-Cloud 8. This means we're formally recognised as one of the partners working with the public sector to develop user-centered digital services.

What is G-Cloud?

The G-Cloud platform is a centralised place where public sector bodies can search for digital services across a number of disciplines.

G-Cloud is designed to make it easier for the public sector to purchase the services of agencies like Deeson because it eliminates the need for lengthy and complicated contracts. Every service offered on the platform has been accredited to Government standards, creating a system that streamlines the process of procurement, and makes it more transparent.

Deeson offers a wide range of digital services under the G-Cloud framework, which you can read about here. They include services like digital strategy, web design, discovery, user experience, Drupal support and maintenance, as well as Symfony, Laravel and Wordpress development, to name a few.

Our public sector experience

We've worked with a number of public sector organisations over the years.

For example, The National Crime Agency found us through the G-Cloud platform. They asked us to redesign the parents and carers section of their thinkuknow.co.uk website.

Another public sector partner we've worked with is the Equality & Human Rights Commission, who asked us to help with the rebuild of their new multilingual site.

Furthermore, our managing director Simon Wakeman has a background in building public sector teams. He has held Head of Marketing and Communications roles at East Sussex County Council and Medway Council and his work has included building an award-winning council website.

  • As a government approved G-Cloud agency, we work in line with the GDS design principles, which are acknowledged as best practice in user-led digital delivery.
