Museums Computer Group spring workshop - Life with Digital Projects

Tim Deeson
Director

Cultural organisations invest more and more budget into digital projects for exhibitions, events, and collection management. But their teams often struggle to integrate digital resources and skills into their day to day business. The Museums Computer Group’s events offer professionals from the UK heritage sector the opportunity to learn from peers and experts.

This year’s spring workshop – ‘Life with Digital Projects’ – focuses on creating digital projects with lasting impact and we are excited that our Managing Director Simon Wakeman and Creative Director Andrew Larking are joining the great lineup of speakers.

Our experience tells us the culture and heritage sector needs to work with agencies to deliver compelling digital. There’s simply not the budget or requirement to keep large full-time digital teams. And we believe strongly that the question to ask is not in-house vs. agency. It’s how do you choose the right agency? And how do you work with the team to deliver impactful, wonderful, fun stuff that your visitors marvel at?

The spring workshop is on Friday, May 6 and you can follow the activity on Twitter #MCGprojects.
