Ronald is tech strategy director at Deeson - a leading UK-based digital agency with clients such as the Royal Collection Trust, Imperial War Museums, Shepherd Neame and Cambridge Consultants - and co-founder of GreenShoot Labs - a product studio building tools that exploit AI, data and conversational interfaces to make teams happier and more productive.
Ronald hold a PhD in Computer Science from Southampton University and a BSc (First Class) in Computer Systems Engineering from Warwick University. He has been working on AI systems since 2000 and has helped organisations structure their data policies, put in place automated decision-making systems and understand how technologies such as agent-based systems, the Semantic Web, data analysis and data visualisation can be used. He has authored and co-authored a number of articles and books on subjects ranging from programming to agent-based software engineering, product development, and the use of AI in business settings.
He has worked with clients such as UCLA, McGill University, Stanford University, SRI International, British Telecom, the NHS, the Italian Government, Tripadvisor, Indiana University Libraries, SolarCentury, Cambridge Consultants and many more.
